(Recipe: Kid Friendly Green Juice)
6:15 off to work..water in tow. My goal is always to drink my 24 ounce cup before I return home. Just to get a jump start on my water intake.
Today it's contents are: Pineapple, Apple, Cucumber and Kale
An encouragement for those Moms (and Dads) out there that are trying to get their kids to eat more veggies...my son requests this juice in the morning and is bummed if we don't have time to make it. You can start out juicing with a higher fruit ratio to make the green juice sweeter. (Pineapple seems to be the sweetest juice we've found). Then, as their taste buds start to acclimate, add more veggies and even out the ratio.
Well, I have a long to-do list so I better get off the computer and get to it! I've popped my B-12 and I'm hoping for continued energy and motivation throughout the day!
Now I'm having some Chamomile Tea with honey and heading off to bed!
